Unity Through Diversity

The theme for this competition is Unity Through Diversity. It refers to the concept of creating harmony and strength by embracing and valuing differences among individuals or groups. It emphasizes that diversity whether in culture, races, ideas, or perspectives can enrich and unite communities, fostering inclusivity and collaboration. 

We developed a concept of drawing a person with different types of hair, facial features, skin colours, etc  to represent diversity. Moreover, we also add some elements to illustrate different cultures and traditions for the background, such as Barongsai, Duwali, Teh Tarik, Nasi lemak, Indonesian Batik, Bunga Raya, etc.

My aim is to demonstrate harmony between different races and cultures in our art masterpiece. We're genuinely grateful for Ms. Anis for giving us a big chance to show our talents and creativity through this competition. Muchmore I felt overjoyed at the moment the judges announced that we won the first place for this competition. From this experience, I have learnt a lot, such as the importance of teamwork, solidarity, confidence, and communication between ourselves, all of that was the reason why we were able to win the mural competition.
