TASKS

For Project 2A, we were tasked with doing colour correction on our Lalin video exercise that we had done before. After we're done with the colour correction, we began colour grading by adding one adjustment layer to all the video clips.

For Project 2B, we were split into 2 groups, and we had to do a shooting production. We divided our tasks fairly, and I became part of the D.O.P. team.

After we finished shooting all the scenes, we were tasked to compile all the clips and do colour correction in Adobe Premiere Pro individually. So I decided to arrange and sync the video and audio until I was satisfied, then began cropping each clip to make it look better. After I was happy with the order, I added some sound effects to a few clips that I found on Freesound. Then, I added video transitions to some clips using the "Dip to Black" effect to make the transitions smoother.

Then, I began to do colour correction for each clip so they looked smoother and better. After that, I did colour grading for each clip to make sure all of them had the same colour vibe. I decided to combine teal and orange, bluish, greenish, and brownish tone for each clip but mainly, I made the trailer result looks more bluish to match the story vibe. Moreover, I also desaturate the first clip around 50%. After that, I added some text to enhance the trailer vibe, using the Changa One font for all the text. I also added a subtitle to the last clip using the Arial Italic font. Lastly, I searched for background music that matched the vibe of the trailer.
