REFLECTION

Experience

Working on these projects was a great experience. I got to try new things, like making a poster in both Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, using Photoshop for editing, colour correcting, etc, and creating animation in Adobe After Effects. Each project had its own challenges, but I enjoyed learning and improving my skills. Overcoming difficulties, like figuring out unfamiliar software, made the process exciting and rewarding. These projects also deepened my interest in design and digital art.

Observations

I learned that paying attention to small details and composition is really important. For poster design, it’s essential to avoid too much empty space and focus on a clear main idea. In Photoshop, I realized that creating something beautiful takes time and requires techniques like the rule of thirds and the golden ratio. When animating in After Effects, I found that it’s not just about moving things around, it’s about making sure everything fits together perfectly. These projects showed me how much thought goes into good design.

Findings

I found out that practicing new techniques can really improve my work. By using Photoshop more, I became better at combining images, correcting colours, and making everything look polished. Learning After Effects also taught me how to create smooth animations. I now feel more confident in these areas and understand that the more I practice, the better I’ll get at design. These projects helped me realize the importance of continuing to learn and improve my skills.
